I thought about it for a while last night. 2006 was a year of broken promises and broken dreams. Hopes were destroyed. My spirit was shattered. Friends turned their backs. Jobs were lost. Circumstances were cold and heartless. There. I got the bad stuff out first. New friends were discovered. Old ones uncovered. Family showed their love and support at a dark and trying tume. Faith in others was restored. Self confidence was rebuilt. Trusts were regained. 2007 already has the offer of love. It holds the wonder of what could be in the eyes of a skeptic. That alone is reason to welcome the new year. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you and your families have a happy and healthy new year.
