Just an old poem I wrote almost exactly 3 years ago Dated: March 28, 2005 Are your ready for SPRING? I cant wait myself! I might start clearing the yard of winter debris and work in it - if it's nice tomorrow ... If not that ... Spring cleaning! (but rather do that on a rainy day) And as I mentioned in a blog during a snow storm. I'm going to get in shape! I want to start riding my bike. So - What's the first thing on your list? Spring Cleaning? Yard Work maybe? Getting into shape? (lol) Please Share I made the Good Morning image on the sun rise pic - a year or so ago. I don't have to many gifs even stored in my photobucket accounts anyway ... (being I usually make a Tuesday Train) So without much to chose from I thought about clouds opening up to allow a new day to start ... and that's how the small poem came to thought! So, I was challenged to get clouds to part - I can easily get objects to scroll ... but I cant make things transparent, so I mess around with a few ways and that was the best I could come up with my limited skills & abilities. So here's my end result:
With the crazy weather
around here as of late:
Snow drifting one day
Sunny Skies the next ...
I've started to get cabin fever!
I've always had some
little alarm go off
{inside my head}
when March rolls in ...
Now the rebirth of nature
is being awoke with the
morning chirps from
our vacationing songbirds.
Perhaps a new chance will
fulfill our winters longings.
Sweet blossoms spring,
and the smell of freshness
unleashes memories of past
growths & changes the never last.
Colors faded from the coldness,
burst from the shades of gloom
that still linger about.
With the shine of brightness,
a new hope will glare
on our colorless face.
Always welcomed but often overlooked,
oh warm me my missed sunshine.
Blind me for the season
my cheerful live colors.
Give me thoughts of wonderment
with your essences and freshness.
I await to hear a whisper from
the thundering sound of change.
Music to my ears.
And make me feel alive
with all the possibilities
that this spring can give.
Make me awaken and assured to
grow with the glory of all things new . . .
