Had to end up going to the hospital today because my temperature shot up to 103. Leg would not stop swelling and my head was about to explode. Anywho, I just assumed this was all an allergic reaction to the cortisone shots from last week. Mind you, the whole ordeal with my leg started because I got a tattoo and was allergic to the INK! Well, the doctors told me 4 years ago not to ever get any kind of ink on me, because I am highly allergic to it. Blah..blah..blah..
So when I go to get the shots, they have to give me a mild sedative because of a *small* mishap the other week. LOL I am also restrained to the table so nothing gets thrown. LOL So when they are working on my leg, other than feeling the shots, I'm not really sure what they might be doing to it. Anywhooooo, when the doctors at the hospital (which happened to be one of my first leg surgeons) cut my cast off today, I heard him start cussing. Then he asked me who in the hell had made marks on my scar with a marker. I'm like well I damn sure didn't. So then, he calls my family doctor, which gives me the cortisone and come to find out, he is the bright one that drew some lines on my scar with a blue permanent marker. Well ain't that fucking lovely? So now my skin has absorbed the ink and once again my body is fighting like a mofo to get rid of it. Ever feel like you're fighting a damn losing battle? I am now thinking of becoming my own doctor. I mean damn, can I really do any worse than they are?
So there ya go. For those of you who have been asking why I haven't been feeling well....now we all know. Cause I was just as clueless about it as the next person.
