The senior-to-be forward was invited to the camp after a junior season in which he garnered All-Mountain West First Team and All-Defensive Team honors. At the time of his injury, he ranked 10th in the MW in points at 15.4 per game, fifth with 8.6 rebounds, second at 54 percent from the field, sixth with 1.4 steals and fourth at 2.1 blocks. He led the Cowboys in each of those categories.

Finley concluded his career at Wyoming when he earned his 11th All-America honor by finishing sixth in the discus at last weekend’s NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. He was just the second Wyoming athlete to advance to the meet under the current qualifying system. Previously, he helped the Cowboys to their second-most points ever at the MWC Championships with victories in the shot put and discus.
