Scenario: It's your first Christmas together and it's Christmas Eve. your girlfriend's two children are with their father. She goes up to spend Christmas Eve with her ex-husband and the two kids and leaves you home alone. The kids will be home tomorrow to spend Christmas Day with you and her. Would you be upset that she can't even spend a nice, kid-free Christmas eve with you to go spend it with her ex and the kids or is this understandable?
