Would a Wyoming move be a good thing?

I am an Owner Operator and own my rig outright. I love my flatbeds and make the most money on them out of all I have hauled. I am looking at some VERY cheap land in Wyoming's southeast corner outside Laramie. I am Carolina born and bred but have lived all over. I have seen jobs for O/O's working the oil fields, but know little to nothing about them. While I do hate the cold, the idea of being in the middle of nowhere is an enticing idea. I guess I am looking for any advice to help make up my mind on this... Thanks yall!
