That made all the problems go away-
You're so wise-
But you keep it in disguise-
Sure you said things that I didn't want to hear-
But I always stayed near-
We live separate lives-
You have yours-
And I have mine-
We've had our share of problems-
But we always worked them out-
Sometimes I felt like your mother-
Even though I wanted to be your lover-
You've told me so many times how you feel about me-
But can't you see-
All the love that I feel for you-
You mean so much to me-
In my eyes and in my heart-
