Lend Your power, send Your light, Aid me in my work tonight! With love and wisdom please embrace, All within this sacred space. Mother, I now call to you, Bring Your message clear and true!

Earth, the Mother giving birth, Air so free, inside of me, Fire higher, ignite your Son, Water Daughter, the Circle is One. Spirit makes all Four alive, Spirit makes the Elements Five

To take from the Earth.. is to nourish thy self and others. To feel the Wind.. is to be free and enjoy all life. To light a Flame.. is to find your way in the dark. To dance in the Rain.. is to bathe in the tears she can no longer hold back. To know the Spirit.. is to take in all Elements and live life in harmony. Do you know the Spirit?

Dawn chasing close on the heels of the night The stars and moon reflected in the ocean blue. There, black 'gainst the rising sun, Danced and sung the children of the goddess. In frenzied circles they did dance, And in ecstasy they did sing. For theirs was the knowledge That gives the bird its voice. There was everything to live for, Everything to hold dear. Their brethren were the wind, That plays amongst the grass, The water that holds mysteries deep, The fire that is the flame of creation, The earth that is our Mother. As I watch I too do know that, I am but a child of the Goddess. And so I and my kith and kin, The followers of the Old Path, Shall dance when the Moon is full. Dance, and sing and rejoice, For the sake of every moment, For the sake of every Dawn.

I am the radiant King of the Heavens, flooding the Earth with warmth and encouraging the hidden seed of creation to burst forth into manifestation. I light my shining spear to light the lives of all beings and daily pour forth my gold upon the Earth, putting to flight the powers of darkness. I am the master of the beasts wild and free. I run with the swift stag and soar as a sacred falcon against the shimmering sky. The ancient woods and wild places emanate my powers, and the birds of the air sing my sanctity. I am also the last harvest, offering up grain and fruits beneath the sickle of time so all may be nourished. For without planting there can be no harvest; without winter, no spring. Worship me as the thousand-named Sun of creation, the spirit of the horned stag in the wild, the running wolf, the endless harvest. See in the yearly cycle of festivals my birth, death, and rebirth - and know that such is the destiny of all creation. I am the spark of life, the radiant Sun, the giver of peace and rest, and I send my rays of blessings to warm the hearts and strengthen the minds of all.

Listen to the words of the Great Mother, who of old was called Artemis, Astarte, Dione, Melusine, Aphrodite, Ceridwen, Diana, Arionrhod, Brigid, and by many other names: "Whenever you have need of anything, once in the month, and better it be when the moon is full, you shall assemble in some secret place and adore the spirit of Me who is Queen of all the Wise. You shall be free from slavery, and as a sign that you be free you shall be naked in all your rites. Sing, feast, dance, make music and love, all in My presence, for Mine is the ecstasy of the spirit and Mine also is joy on earth. For My law is love unto all beings. Mine is the secret that opens upon the door of youth, and Mine is the cup of wine of life that is the cauldron of Ceridwen, that is the holy grail of immortality. I give the knowledge of the spirit eternal and beyond death I give peace and freedom and reunion with those that have gone before. Nor do I demand aught of sacrifice, for behold, I am the mother of all things and My love is poured upon the earth." Hear the words of the Star Goddess, the dust of whose feet are the hosts of heaven, whose body encircles the universe: "I who am the beauty of the green earth and the white moon among the stars and the mysteries of the waters, I call upon your soul to arise and come unto me. For I am the soul of nature that gives life to the universe. From Me all things proceed and unto Me they must return. Let My worship be in the heart that rejoices, for behold-- all acts of love and pleasure are My rituals. Let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you. And you who seek to know Me, know that your seeking and yearning will avail you not, unless you know the Mystery: for if that which you seek, you find not within yourself, you will never find it without. For behold, I have been there with you from the beginning, and I am that which is attained at the end of all desire."
