whose fault is it that the big three auto makers are in debt? I have noticed that years ago, the cars built in this country were a lot better quality, looked nicer, sounded better, and preformed better than modern vehicles. Forign vehicles have always been cheaper, but did not last as long as domestic cars. While the price of "domestic" autos has gone up, their quality has gone down. cars now have cheap plastic bumpers, plastic covers on the engines, and dont last half as long as they used to. the owners of the companies have probably never held a wrench in their life, and have no knowlege of their product. The government has put rediculous regulations in place such as overlystrict regulations, the exhaust cannot flow freely, which harms the proformance, and the ethenol used breaks down into water, damaging the vehicle overtime. whose fault is it that the automakers are in debt?
