So, I was sitting here thinking...Pizza Hut is definitely the niftiest place in the world besides here of course. They have this cheese bite pizza which is really awesome. If you haven't heard of it, it's like a stuffed crust pizza, only you can pull the crust off into little cheese bites. The things they come up with in this world!
So I've started the journey of moving. I put a deposit on a house the next town over (5 miles away). It's got 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, a kitchen and a full basement. Not entirely too bad for $450/month. I know people that pay that much for a 2 bedroom apartment. I got the paperwork, but I haven't signed the lease yet. As soon as they get it figured out what they need to do as far as state requirements to fix the place up, and get it inspected, I can start moving in. Hopefully that'll be within the next week or 2 because I would love to have an indoor garage sale here at the apartment so I can get rid of some of the stuff I either don't want, or am too lazy to move (if there's enough to even consider selling). I just know I need to be completely moved out of the apartment no later than February 28th. Seems like a few weeks from now, but since I'm working 7 days a week, it'll come faster than I had hoped. Oh well, the price I pay for my procrastination habit.
To elaborate on the 7 days a week work schedule I'm doing, I'll let you in on the secret. There's only 2 cooks where I work right now. I'm one of them...there are 2 shifts everyday..7 days a week. Until we hire some new people (hopefully 2 part time that will work on the weekends so my supervisor and I can work m-f) my supervisor and I are working every shift..she works the mornings everyday...I'm working 10a-6p everyday. It's not too bad when you think of the overtime I'm getting, 32 hours every paycheck, but it doesn't add up to much when I don't get paid for shit anyway, but that's beside the point. I told our manager that I can't work on the weekends after March 15th. That gives her a deadline to find 2 people that can. She needs to get on it. I can't afford to pay daycare/preschool AND a sitter for the weekends. They don't pay me enough to want to do that and spend that much time away from my kids. If she doesn't find people to work the weekend, I'm going to have to quit. I don't want to because I love my job, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Anywayz, I think I'm done rambling.
