Who would have thought one lonely star
Could shed a light so bright,
And lead the shepherds on their way
To see an awesome sight.
Who would have thought one unwed girl
Could be the chosen one...
To bear the joys of giving birth
To Father's only Son.
Who would have thought that one small child
Could alter history,
By being born in mortal form...
And dying on a tree.
Who would have thought that on the hay,
Asleep as angels sing,
Would be the one to ransom all,
The baby....King of Kings!
