Okay, so I have been asked many times if I am a real Doctor, the answer to that is no.
The next most common question is how I got the name Dr.
There is no simple answer for this without knowing me, but in short I will try to help you understand.
My best friend here on Fubar and I talk and we used to talk real late. She knows well, that people, here and in the real world, will just come up to me, not knowing me, and tell me their life story, their problems, etc. This has been happening to me since I was thirteen. My friends’ girlfriends used to come to me about their boyfriends or their ex’s when they were hurt or played. I would listen to them, help them get through the time they were having and step aside when they were able to go back into the world. So yeah, for a man I have a really slanted view of my gender, I have seen the damage that they do, though I do know it is not only one sided, there are women out there that do the same.
Back to the story. One night, I was voting on and commenting on the mumms, like I usually do, while I was talking to my best friend. A lady had a real problem and like mummers do they were raking her over the coals (and no, not all mummers are like this, I know some wonderful mummers). From my comment she pm’d me and I told my best friend that I would be a little slow in our conversation because I was talking to somebody that needed help. After I finished talking to the lady, some hour or so later, I picked up the conversation with my best friend. She said, “Your like a magnet, they seem to find you no matter where.” I laughed and said, “Yeah, I guess I missed my calling, lol” She replied, “You know what you are? You’re the Fu Psychologist, a Fu-Psych.” That was a great laugh on that, because she also knows I don’t tell anyone about what I discuss with people.
The next day we got to talking again and her opening statement in the shout box was “Hi, Doc!”
Well, it has been there ever since, then on my birthday, I received a degree in Fu Psychology. I love talking or listening to people, and helping them out. All my friends that know me know that I am real and genuine article, this is not a “web personality”, and I am just simply, me, no more no less.
I don’t ever discuss any personal things with anyone else, never get offended, shocked and am always willing to listen and talk.
So that dear reader, is how the Dr. got to be, and I am very intelligent and can discuss most any subject, and actually have in the past 13 years (some of the things I have talked to the female sex about most men, and some women probably never heard, lol).
One great thing out of this is that I have many friends, and those that take time to talk to me have stayed tried and true, you can ask any of them about me.
Three good things are that I am a good listener, I am free and no appointment is necessary.
