When we talk about frustration, we generally mean those feelings brought about by shocking changes in our worldly circumstances.
Loss of property,
loss of job,
disappointed expectations.
These events and so many others, leave us feeling frustrated and helpless. "How could this happen to me?" we ask, "Who did this to me?"
The hard lesson is that even though the events that led to our frustration just came out of nowhere, the solution will not. It's up to us to quit trying to figure out how this happened and turn our attention to what we can do about it.
Frustration leaves us feeling out of control, prey to random forces. When frustrated, we must learn to seek out the areas we can control and learn to accept that the ultimate CONTROLLER of our circumstances is always watching out for us.
