B/f and I have been working with Veterans and there families for a couple months now,some are the older guys,some just returning home.Most have PTSD (Post tramatic stress disorder)Alot of these people due to the snags in the VA system and the lack of jobs are barely getting by.One couple we spoke with had 30 bucks left over for food after paying bills.This isn't cool.
We have an idea that may help on short term basis as these people getting things in order. Start a food bank for Vets, run it out of our house.This will be done on a small level.
My question is... would you do it is you had the ways and means???
Any positive ideas are welcome. |
