Feel like ranting for some reason.
Why are the loyal/faithful people the ones who always get fucked over? Whether it's a personal relationship, job, friendship, etc....We are always the one's to get screwed (and not in a good way).
I'm one of these people, faithful to a fault....painfully loyal. And no matter how often people like me are done wrong, we can't bring ourselves to give 'those' a dose of their own medicine. We are 'stuck' in the mind set of 'do unto others as ...you would have done unto you'. This can be a strength and a weakness...which one I honestly don't know. No one seems to care about that concept anymore. Everyone is only out for themselves, immediate satisfaction (sexually, mentally, career wise, physically) without a care in the world about how it affects the people around them....the people that they supposedly say they love, respect, cherish...and even if they do know they don't care enough about those relationships to change their behavior. They keep the mind set 'what they don't know won't hurt them'....guess what....it always ALWAYS comes out.
So please...please don't use us for a door mat, take us for granted and always think we are going to be there. Because eventually we will tire of the hurt and realize that the only way things will change is if we turn our backs and walk away.
Common sense, respect, morals have all seemed to fly out the window. You see it everyday...in your own home, work, tv, walking the streets.
It's down right pitiful....
