My ex-fiancee' called me last night. Seems that she is having problems with the guy she dumped me for and wanted my advise. She says that I am the one person that she has ever been able to be open with and trust for honest answers. When she left me to be with him, she said she still wanted to be friends. I told her that is was just too painiful and better if we just didn't have contact.
Now I am trying to give her good advise, since I am only getting information from what she is telling me, so I am telling her is might be nothing, and then again he might be cheating on her. In other words I am trying to point out all possibilites and be totally fair. I still care very very much for her, so while my trust in her is shot to hell, my heart still wants her. I know really stupid.
Either way, I haven't been taking advantage of the situation. I am pointing out all possible answers, and told her that she needs to talk it out with him.
Anyway I she keeps calling, wanting to talk, and get more advise. and it is tearing me up inside.
so to I
A. continue to be a good guy, and listen to her and try to give advise.
or B. tell her it really hurts me to keep talking to her, and tell her she burned her bridges with me and is on her own. |
