I just spent the past hour as a volunteer as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army in front of Walmart here. I was the coordinator for the members of the Rotary Club here for the Dec. 8th day for bell ringers in front of 3 local stores.
Nobody signed up between 10 - 11 am today so I did it. What a great feeling to be there ringing the bell and so many people stopped by to put dollar bills in the red pot.
Good to see so many people who want to help the needy.
I will be spending a few hours doing it again today to help out.
But, ... BRRRRRRRRRRRR... it is 36 degrees here and the breeze made it so cold.
