My life has sucked royally the past several months. I lost my job in June (bc of some backstabbing bitch... and spineless director and greedy employee) and spent the summer battling for my unemployment (I won). It's amazing how employers LIE. Anyway, battled depression every day and have tried (done pretty well, actually) in keeping my spirits up, considering. Month before I lost my job, my bf had a seizure and was on driving restrictions so I was a chauffeur all summer. Then he was forced to resign from the police dept and discriminated against. Enter Human Rights claim for discrimination. Then his dad died of cancer. And then I overdid the gym routines and ended up at chiro who told me 2 discs were gone. HA! Awesome year, right? Oh and the relationship is still ridiculously complicated. If we were married it would be one of those roommate type marriages (been there, done that!). And then right before xmas this year the doc calls and bf has spot on lung so now we are waiting for ct scan results. Fucking A. If I vanish periodically or don't send bling or ask for help in getting a VIP etc.... it's because I am so tightly budgeted I can't even rationalize getting new lingerie or heels... and that bites.
That all being said, I NEED A MOTHERFUCKING JOB. I got nearly 20 years experience in marketing, development, management, media and public relations/communications. If you have a solid ass lead for me, then please let me know. I'd really like to keep my house, my car, my savings!

I joined Fubar on 12/20/2015. I'm a newbie who rose fast in levels thanks to some TRULY wonderful fu-friends.
Here are fast facts about me:
I am not a Kentucky girl, I'm a Chicago girl who got stuck here when I married a Lexingtonian back in 2003. We divorced (YAY!) back in May 2014. My family is in Chicago.
I am always short on time... I have a house, pets, lots of responsibilities and so if I don't reply... please know it is because I am running around trying to get things done.
I have a poor replacement of children with 2 pit bulls and 5 cats. The dogs don't eat the cats but the one dog would like to destroy the other.
I have hearing loss and have very nice hearing aids provided through Voc Rehab in 2014. I wear them in meetings, dates, etc. Otherwise at home they are out and on the phone they are out.
Those glasses everyone loves... guess what... they are bifocals. My vision sucks too.
I've been a vegetarian since I was 18.
I have extensive experience with animal welfare non profits as director, grantwriter, fundraiser... PR person.
I love photography, driving my car (BMW) too fast (never got a ticket tho), reading, quiet time, genealogy research, providing help to other nonprofits.
I AM dating someone who I do love. I do not cheat. I do believe it is far easier to cheat than to work things out in a relationship or make a decisive move to leave.

Why did I join Fubar? Oh, that's a salacious story...
Short version is I had previously joined to bait my then boyfriend who referred to this only as a gaming site. He took the bait. A week later I made this profile and bought his ass. He has since left Fubar.

Here's what I know about Fu-land... Some people are in it for hookups, some for flirting, some for friends, some for levels/games, and some are seeking true love (h). I enjoy that I can post my pics without catty women on facebook saying I have some obsession, I like to make friends, I like to reach a next level.

There are MANY wonderful people on this site. Many ladies, many gentleman. People that just enjoy the quirkiness that Fubar provides in the levels, bling, powerups, families, and getting to know people in a nonfacebook environment. I appreciate that.
