It's amazing how such a simple question as "write a few sentences about yourself" can be so complicated. I could sit here and stare at this little box for hours debating what to write. I mean, they really honestly expect me to sum up my entire existence in a few short sentences? Well, since I have nothing better to do at the moment, I'll give it a shot. In a lot of ways I am a fairly average guy. I love bowling. I can do it either for fun or on a competitive league. I'd like to be better, but not dissatisfied with where I'm at. The only professional sport I follow is hockey and I'm incredibly devoted to the [[Detroit Red Wings]]!). As a warning, be prepared for me to go on and on if hockey ends up being a topic of conversation.
On the not-so-typical side, I'm a romantic. I get such a kick out of doing things like sending flowers, writing poetry, or just cuddling. I am always honest and I'm very open about my feelings. I don't believe in holding anything back when it comes to matters of the heart. Once you get to know me, I am easily readable and my thoughts are an open book. The only trick is getting to that point. I'm fairly shy in general and it's even worse when it comes to members of the opposite sex. It's not that I'm not confident, but who likes dealing with rejection, right?

Interests
Interests of mine include frequenting coffee shops, reading books (mostly Sci-FI/Fantasy), feeding my addictions (just caffeine, nicotine, and love), seeing movies, riding roller coasters, wearing black clothing, writing short stories and poetry, playing video games, staring at the stars, and staying up all night. I enjoy thunderstorms, walks on the beach (even if it does sound cliche), laughing 'til it hurts, daydreaming, laughing, smiling, and crying. I dislike lies, bad food, and feeling lonely.
Music
My musical interests allow for a great variety. Alternative rock, 80's, jazz, blues, classical, and even a few showtunes. It's difficult to narrow down my list of favorites, but I'll give it a shot anyway. They include Smashing Pumpkins, Evanescence, the Guess Who, Tori Amos, Queen, MeatLoaf, Depeche Mode, the Goo Goo Dolls, Counting Crows, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, and many, many others.
I just recently started DJ'ing mornings at the Vampire's Haven lounge. I start at 9am on weekdays and go on 'til my amazing station manager pulls me off, heh. If you can't catch my show, please don't let that stop you from visiting our wonderful little home.
