Wow! its been almost a year since i wrote my last Valentines day blog...what a difference a year can make...last year i was rather cynical about valentines day lol little did i know cupid is just slow lol his arrow finally found its mark for me :) about dang time!!! LOL Last year i was alone...this year i have the love of a wonderful man :) Hot Diggity!!! LOL In all seriousness now...i was very fortunate to meet and fall in love with someone wonderful. I wasn't looking when we met..maybe thats they key...love cant be planned...it just has to happen...for those of you who have that "special someone" in your life...cherish it...don't take that love for granted. For those of you who have been hurt...the old cliche is true...time heals...if it didn't work out then it wasn't meant to be...that was the hardest for me to accept at times i think...but i am grateful...if i hadn't lost the one who was wrong for me...i wouldn't have found the one who is right. I know easy for me to say but it is true. I still believe in everyone having a soulmate. You will find yours...just keep your heart open. My favorite quotes are...don't love the one you can live with...love the one u can't live without...and love isn't about finding the one who is "perfect" but it's about learning to love the imperfect person perfectly. Remember...love comes in alot of forms...the love of good friends is also amazing...i love you my friends...Thanks for being a friend. Happy Valentines Day! :)

Valentines Day...its coming again soon...Love it or Hate it....For some...it's a great day...a day to celebrate your love for someone special in your life. LOL i used to feel that way...another lifetime ago it seems. :) For others of us its a day we tend to dread.....just another unwanted reminder that Cupid needs to practice a whole lot more with that arrow of his lol I know I am not alone...who hasnt had their heart broke a time or two...or three..or four...but hey whos counting? lol I believe everyone has a soulmate...somewhere...only problem is that by the time you find them...sometimes their hearts been broken so much before you come along they find it hard to trust love again...and they will miss the best thing that ever happened to them...YOU :)I call them the walking wounded....of which i am a card carrying memeber lol should you regret the heartbreaks? not at all...we survived them and became stronger for it. Should you be bitter? Not at all....i believe in Karma...Love will bite them in the butt one day too! LOL Should you give up on Love? not at all....where there is life there is hope :) Soooooooo......this Valentines day....i will roll my eyes at all the lovey dovey commercials...lol and know that the day is only 24hrs long....:) Who knows...maybe we will be the ones next year to have found the elusive "lovebug" :) I will celebrate my love for all those special people in my life...of which there is many :) Happy Valentines Day :)
