There are many that believe that it was a mistake for the US to pull soldiers out of Iraq in 2011. I have soldiers friends that said it was getting dangerous for them, cause their partners there wanted them out, wanted to prosecute them, even threaten to poison their food if they did not leave. If we did not have a secure partner in Iraq, Bush negotiated this withdrawal in 2007 and 2008 and Iraq refused to give US troops limited immunity, would it have been wise to stay?
A: Yes, cause we could have stopped or limited the rise of ISIS.
B: No, it could have made matters worse, for the US and made more people in the region hate US soldiers for ignoring Iraq sovereignty.
