I see whatever I see
No thoughts have I preconceived
If you dare stare into my depths
With the truth you will be met
You may think that I am cruel
Lies reflecting from my pools
But I show you what you show me
So look within if it's truth you seek
Sometimes dark waters are penetrated by light
Radiating from smiles and bright sunlight
Sometimes I am rippled by tears
Crying out to escape from their piteous fears
So look within my waters deep
Where smiles, tears and truth have seeped
And maybe you will find your way
In the images that your reflection portrays
But all I can promise is the truth you will see
Your face, unjudged, whether you laugh or weep
