At this moment I am pretty much right in the middle of the eye of this storm. It hasn't been really bad here yet but it can get bad in the blink of an eye.
I know however that there are a lot of roads that have been blocked by trees and I'm sure there are a lot of people that ended up driving into ditches due to the idiocy of people on the roads at this point.
There are gov workers out there helping people but I am sure they are overworked
I am one of the few people in this God forsaken little flyspeck town that has the means to clear roads (chain saw) and pull people from ditches (big truck with winch)
So...
Should I stay home where it is safe and dry and wait out the storm letting the people fend for themselves
or
Should I go out burning gas and risking a wreck (lots of wind and idiot drivers) and help the people less fortunate than me in their time of need? |
