I am about to watch a show on TLC about Children in Beauty Pageants.I am at this point NOT in favor of putting these lil Girls and Boys too through something that can be so detrimental to their development as far as the way society views beauty, both in and out AND the way they will view beauty in others.
I have never been in favor of these things, ive grown up with kids both in and out of the Pageants, and i personally never knew anyone who other then Scholarships gained any Good from them , and soem of the stuff these kids go through NOW MY GOD, soem should be abuse. But i want your oppinion .
IS this a Self Esteem builder, or BUSTER? Does it make a person see themselves and others for what they are , or how good they look ?How are these kids gonna turn out ? |
