Prelude of Time by LateNiteFantasy© Time cycles us upon its endless track Searching for completion and fulfillment We travel upon time's carousel innocently Whirling 'round as we glimpse vistas of possibilities And those few who dare, reach out To grasp a memory to keep forever. That precious prelude to life's completion is love For to love is to share One's essence of being With others Love can whirl 'round us as we Oblivious to the obvious Continue our search Reaching out to the ether for memory traces. I have whirled 'round on the carousel For countless spins Grasping ghosts and illusion My ring not complete. The calliope of love piped out its tune As my carousel slowed And a vista of wondrous beauty Unclouded my foggy being As I gazed 'pon your essence reflection Radiating reason unto my obscurity. This is the Prelude of Time Acute vision, honed by rainbowed ridges of inner peace Shows the way as I step from the carousel Into the timeslip of life's futures.

Time Slipping Away by LateNiteFantasy© Time is slipping away. Time has nothing much to say; except time is soon to pass when time will be as fragile as glass. In time only time can tell if time produces heaven or hell; and time laughs at us all as time walks slowly down the hall into oblivion only to live again... In another time in another place where time wears another face; still time knows its' fate ~ in time it will be too late. Time for a lonely drum; time for darkness to come. Time for time to go once more to another time on another shore in time.

A cut open sky by LateNiteFantasy© Sailing serenely on the Safire soaked sea. Whilst in another world a benign bull sits under his cork tree. Back to the barge and a pale gaze set upon shimmering haze. When all of a sudden willowy white weavings smear the sky as if it were ablaze. Perhaps it was a Prussian poet of an azure airy aviary? Suppose it were a skywriter? Whatever the which, this smoke was getting whiter. The writer was gone before the ground could grab him. What could have happened to him something, pleasant, promising, Gruesome, grim? A stitch in time and an unsung crime for those who forget the rhyme. This tear in space, like a wound left open silently saying all in due time. A terrible thought thunders through two travelers. The fairytale Ferdinand flicks his tail at a fly that is this thought. While a scarred sailor solemnly surrenders to the scene as it were sought Under the tree of cork Ferdinand frees a tear for a sailor that slipped by her in a dream And the dearly departed sailor sets sail down an even older stream.

Only hints At where the keys reside, how to unlock The doors behind which precious rest is found Can be deciphered. Will it take a shock? A jarring moment? Flashing sights rewound By newfound passion? What this moment brings: A momentary purging of the soul, A frightening new ability. He sings A painful song, but pain unchains the whole. It cannot change the past, but love can light A momentary flame that lasts one night.
