What are you waiting for?
My 'baby' starts high school tomorrow. I'm sorta freaking out about it. It is true what they say about how quickly children grow up. I still see him as my little boy and it's hard to let go. He's becoming more independent and while I'm happy about that, it makes me sad too. He doesn't need his father and I that much anymore. I don't know how to calm down about the first day of high school jitters. He is calm about it and excited. I try not to show him that I'm worried, sad, anxious, etc... I don't want to have him worry.
For those out there that have gone through this, can you offer words of advice? All is welcome.
