This was written MONTHS AGO--------------For the first time in a LONG time I feel like this country has a decent chance at being successful and proud once again. I don't mean proud to hang a flag in our front yard because our neighbors did it. I mean proud to sit in a room and tell people from other nations that you are from the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. like it love it hate it whatever, truth is for the last 8 years this country has had a man who DESTROYED more forest than the 3 presidents before him set aside. He ran more than one oil company into the ground, he ran the Texas Rangers into the ground and he ran this country into the ground. To all the pissed off rednecks- Who the fuck are you to sit and blast someone for WANTING change. for promoting GROWTH. Please do not mistake my anger for misunderstanding or un-education. I know what you stand for, I know what you believe in and good for you for thinking gay is a choice carrying guns is a necessity . Making abortion illegal and yet sending the 18-25 year old men and women to fight and die for a war. 18-25 that is the next generation of men and women that will be running this country and you're killing them off NO PROBLEM. Gay marriage. hmmm Do i like it, No do I want to see it? NO. But BUT..... It has NOTHING TO DO WITH ME. Gay straight lesbian WHATEVER you may be you have a right to be married and FUCKING MISERABLE just like anyone else. People think that teaching gay marriage in school is going to be wrong and immoral. Well maybe if they taught our young people to be more accepting and open to other lifestyles they wouldn't grow up to be such ignorant hate mongers. Shocking reality YOU CANT TEACH CHILDREN TO BE GAY Just like no one had to TEACH you what and who you're attracted to. My step mom A devout catholic. She says to me last night. "I just don't think gay people should be married, they already have all the same rights." "It's a religious communion for a man and a woman" Then she says "that's just the way it is Joel, that's how its always been and it shouldn't change" hmmmmmmmmmmmm Ok going by that outlandish though process Women shouldn't vote nor should they drive Black people should still be slaves and we should all live in Great Brittan. I don't want to see 2 dudes playing tonsil hockey on a bench I don't want to see 2 straight people playing tonsil hockey on a bench for that matter. But I don't have to look. think of it as FAT PEOPLE IN SPANDEX It's there and its disturbing BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO LOOK. and you don't have to agree, BUT its their right as human beings. I want this country to start to recover from the last 8 years of failure. I want people who cant afford medical coverage to not be afraid to go to the hospital. I want my parents to KNOW that there is social security waiting for them when they retire. I want the brave men and women who fight and die for this country to once again be proud of what they do AND WHY they do it.
