Well let's see... I'm 22 years old now... and enjoy living my life by the words of the late, great, James Dean- "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today"After leaving high school in grade 10, I enrolled as a business major at Athabasca University, where I briefly studied psychology as well. After 2 years as a student, I left and instead enrolled as a Production/Engineering student at the Harris Institute For The Arts... which I recently completed in march.These days, under the "stage name" of Demon Child... I am the songwriter, lyricist, and vocalist (among other things) for the industrial/metal band Head Smashed In. Now nearing the final stages of recording, we will hopefully be releasing our debut album later this year. Under my own name, I also work as a freelance engineer/producer and composer. As a producer I have only had the opportunity to work on demos, but look forward to producing albums in the future, and have had the good fortune of recording narration for an independent film about avant-garde artists called Cardew. As a composer, I just completed the score for an independent horror film called Hallowed Halls (due out later this year) which also features an instrumental version of the song "Slipping" from my band.Since you've likely never heard of me or my band before... it's easy enough to figure out that I'm not making a fortune doing what I'm doing. But hey... it's not a bad way to start, lol.
