I look at your old letters,
read them word for word.
Tears stain them even more
Memories haunt me once again.
The scent of you, so real
Your voice.....so vivid and near.
Records and tapes we listened to, dust now covers them.
Music plays, just enough to hear.
Photos are now old and brown
Edges torn and worn away.
These things I see are falling apart slowly, like your face I used to see so clear.
I place the things aside as I look through the trunk,
Hoping for find you once again!
But all there is left is a wooden bottem.
If only I wasn't so alone!
I wish this was the end for me also.
Will I see you once again?
