Sunday
Color of the day: Orange
Incense of the day: Heliotrope
Sunday governs health and healing, and is a good day for protective magic. Invoke the Egyptian god Horus, the god of light and healing. Horus appears with the head of a falcon and the body of a man. The Eye of Horus, or the all-seeing eye, is a symbol used in many cultures to ward off evil. Invoke Horus to enlighten you and aid you in times of illness, injury, and recovery, but also call on Horus to protect you.
Light a white candle, and looking into the bright flame, invoke Horus.
Horus heal me, keep me safe,
Protect my mind, body, and
spirit.
Watch over my home, my
family, and friends,
Keep us safe, healthy, and
light.
Protect my car, my yeard, my
community
Be with me as I travel.
Horus, heal me, make me
whole, keep me filled with
light and life.
Brighten me, and keep away
evil.
A highland Prayer for the New Moon Friday
Color of the day: Rose
Incense of the day: Orchid
In Soctland, the New moon was honored as the start of a new cycle, and people kept a silver coin in their pocket that they turned three times when they first saw the new crescent Moon, known as Rioghainn na h-oidhche,(em)"Qheen of the Night." Here are some traditional Celtic verses which were receited upon first seeing the New Moon: Hail to you, New Moon Beautiful Guiding One of the sky Hail to you, New Moon, Beautiful Loved One of my Heart! I am bending my knee to you I am giving you my hand I am lifing my eye to you New Moon of the Seasons! You are traveling in your path You are steering the full tides You are illuminating you face to us New Moon of the Seasons! Holy be each thing Which she illuminates Fragrant be every night On which she shines!

Family getting the better of you? Draw upon your reserves and more easily banish that impatience. Find some quiet time where you can be by yourself. Sit comfortably, a small piece of obsidian in your hands. Breathe deep breaths and become aware of how you feel relaxed and at ease. Imprint that feeling upon yourself. Imagine shaking off the anger and impatience, the energy dissipating harmlessly in the air. Pour those feelings of calmness into the obsidian. During the day, when you feel your calm slipping, reach for your calming stone and mentally shake off the impatient energy trying to consume you and make you lose control.
Vicarious Lyrics
I've been pondering lately, and thought I'd perform myself a little survey/questionnaire and would appreciate feedback from friends and family. - thanks, Jeff
First
If you created a society, for the sake of my little experiment we'll call it "the tribe", whose purpose was to be self sustainable and renewable with as little negative impact on the environment and ecosystem, what would you're top ten rules be if you were the "chief" ?
Secondly
If you were a member of "the tribe" what would you be able to contribute and what would make you an asset or valuable member of the community ?
thanks for taking the time to answer.
