commentary/devotion

Before Jesus prophesied Virgin Birth,
there were unblemished Lamb sacrifices at the temple
that only temporarily covered for sins.
Note;
(pre-Jesus saints who died, to the "Bosom of Abraham" a place of comfort,
untill Jesus came got them to "set the captives free" just after crucifixion during the 3'days before "He is Risen")
The radicalness of sin being demonstrated,
by the sacrifice required to "atone" for sin...,
the shedding of blood.(innocent/sinless/unblemished, blood)

Jesus being the ultimate Blood sacrifice
only Jesus is unblemished/sinless/innocent
via/by the virgin birth,
Jesus didn't inherit, the sinful seed of Adam
[we all sin. because we did]

The Gospel means "The GOOD NEWS"
Jesus having paid the Atonement for our sin
& haven risen from the dead as prophesied
after paying "the wages of sin" which is death
but He not having sinned, death couldn't hold him
so having paid the price
He(Jesus) can account that payment to us, on our behalf
& the judgement/payment/wages having been,
as Just put it, Paid in Full, for it is Finished
& the Curtain on the temple ripped foom Top to Bottom
that separation of Man & God, no longer there,
& the old testament sacrifices(nor curtain of separation), no longer needed

we can be brought back into fellowship/relationship, with God
Forever, thanks to the atoning Blood of Jesus :-)
