Dr Turi.
Let me be yet one more consistent voice (echo) in your favor. The stuff you
have been writing about is pertinent to the newsletter community and I am
listening in frank amazement. Something else that needs to be said and said
plainly, your tone is enjoyable now. It is either that or I'm getting more
familiar with your content and am becoming bias toward your observations and
accurate warnings; you have the heart of a brother and who in their right
mind can be offended by that. I realize that I may have gone through a bit
of a metamorphosis in my thinking, which for me was from skeptic (safe
beginning place for most) to noticing your accuracy; really noticing and
appreciating it actually.
It takes some courage to say what you do say regarding tunnel minded
thinking that often accompanies religious patterns and thinking. If some
new idea ( in the general sense ) does not fit within the predefined and
well-worn thought patterns, well, it is heresy to the religious person. By
the time someone is in their 40's a general observation regarding the
close-minded effects of religious thought is often noticed by people who
also have a bit of what I regard as a healthy skepticism. I am just such an
individual. I hope to say that I have a healthy skepticism about any new
(to me) idea; and with that skepticism presents itself as a whole lot of
patience with one I have determined is worthy of my attention, specifically,
you and your work.
I am less skeptical and lately have become more willing to acknowledge your
accuracy and your work in general. I'll go back to tone for a second time:
your tone is much more like what one expects when approaching a guy at work
on a job. You hesitate, consider what is being said and possibly make a
comment if the topic at hand warrants the comment, then right back at work
you go. One more little word picture for you is when you approach a work
horse in the field and the guy driving the horses draws them up; they are
simply taking that moment to catch their breath and calm down; possibly
they will swing their big head around to notice the one walking up beside to
view them up closer. You sorta have that tone about you now; that working
tone and I tell you one thing; it is very appealing to this x farm kid to
see and hear and take note.
I waited up the night you were on Coast To Coast this week and I heard that
tone and it was not overdone and it sounded as if you were just as content
with what the quatrains were indicating to you in your life as what they
were telling us, your (tiny ?) audience. This has got to be somewhat of a
humbling experience for you as well and that comes through in your tone, but
not to your dis-service. I think you are onto something that will have much
to benefit us as we compare it to other venues for enlightened content.
The books of most religions have been edited and modified as the centuries
pass, even the artwork on which the scriptures are based have been either
added or subtracted or been edited to fit the current audience in spite of
the warnings to the contrary. Historical facts via other art supports or
detracts from their varied content. The Bible is not the only source of
information on the planet, despite what many would like to imagine.
This is a normal part of a literate person's understanding as it pertains to
art and content. The proof is in the" fruit" of the following what ever
train of thought is presented. For the most part, following or considering
such artwork can bring a measure of 'peace', but one must be careful to not
interpret the contentment it brings(often soft words) for peace of mind; the
mind rages; mine does. It is my opinion that the scriptures are purposefully
incomplete; they are the beginning of my journey; that much seems pretty
clear. The repetitive structure you present is considered by me as the
context in which the journey of enlightenment is conducted. As you have
mentioned, if our UCI is better understood by us, your noted precautions
suddenly take on a deeper value to us.
The quatrains you present and the warnings that you offer are, in my life
anyway, part of what the scripture refers to as "the things which belong to
'thy' peace". I think it is fascinating. (Luke 19:42 KJV) Saying, If thou
hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong
unto thy peace!
There is no substitute for a fellow laborer when one decides to uncover or
unearth the truth. The real truth. What you are / have been digging up and
putting on display for those who enjoy enlightened thought is in no way
cheap or simply flimflam, it is just yet another layer of layers of the
mysteries of the creator. We need help in observing and we need guidance
within this "astro-psychology" topic. Let the impatient nay sayers go about
their lives without the benefit of understanding. The scripture also says:
(Eccl 10:10 KJV) If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then
must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. The
primary idea to me is that sharpening is necessary. Not one of his
servants (prospectively myself) should shun this sharpening; your work has a
sharpening effect on my life. Your work invites this sharpening in my
life. It certainly is not a waste of time; it most certainly is not a
mischievous or evil endeavor.
It is of immense value; the problem most (me, I admit) have with it is to
find a place for it inside their / my current context. What is obvious is,
that you have the heart of a servant and you are, with your accuracy,
changing my mind regarding the making of more space in my life for it within
myself. ( in-roads ) You hang in there and work, you are at your very best
when you are at work, and you are amazing the classmates. The best to you,

I check my email copiously (I am home on maternity leave) and would love to
be of assistance. Consider it a small favor for someone who is entertaining.
I listened to you on Coast to Coast recently and laughed out loud when some
horrid woman called and kept interrupting you. She was on a tirade about
callers needing to 'just trust Jesus' and not consult people (such as
yourself) for expertise. She seemed rather unhinged but you handled it with
aplomb.

the people are not at your level, I sure can see that and feel that. Just
like the female that called in the other night! They do not know that you
was given the gifts from god himself because he Knew that you would be the
