So here's the deal, I am a single father of 2 boys, (very young mind you 2 and 3 yrs old) and I have recently asked their mom to stop contacting them, now before you jump to any conclusions here's the reasons why:
1. She moved to Alaska with her fiance and the kids didn't hear from her in about a year.
2. She did start calling eventually, and every few days, but that lasted around 2 months. Afterwards it was uncommon for her to call twice in the same week.
3. Lately she has said that she would call every few days again, but has instead called 1 time since then and messaged me once on my messenger.
4. Her reasons for not calling is that it's long distance, so i recommended that she go and get herself a calling card. She then proceeds to claim that she hasn't got the money to buy one, even though they had just bought a brand new laptop.
The question is (yay)should I stick by what i said and let my kids make up their own mind when they're older, or (nay) Giver her another chance with the kids. |
