Alone in the night, the darkness caressing her skin her only comfort is the empty dreamless sleep. Restless lonely struggling to go on knowing one day her King will be there. Finding solace in the night and until then embracing the darkness for it is always there. The breeze gentle whistles through trees, still quiet nothing stirs. She sits alone looking up into the majestic night sky, the stars sparkling like suspended diamonds, she gazes at the moon. Quietly praying to the Goddess for the one her heart cries out for, all she can do is hope that prayers are heard. She crosses her arms across her breast and patiently waits. Lost deep in her dark thoughts, Oh bittersweet sorrow why do I put myself through this. It never changes its is always the same. Gain the courage to let my guard down to let someone in, why do I do such things that bring me so much pain? I am a solitary creature. I believe now I was to walk this world alone. No matter how much I care or love, it falls upon deaf ears. One of my greatest fears has now become a reality I will die forgotten and alone. She closes her eyes, wishing with all her might for the one she was ment to spend her life with. She was tired of the lies and the deceit of others. Saying what they will getting her to fall for them, so the can try to fufill their desires yet their true intentions are revealed before they can obtain the object of their desire. She longed for the one she could trust not only with her heart but her soul and her life as well. She knew he was out there some where wishing for her just as badly. They were kindred spirits, soulmates, each others one and only true love. She needed him now, tired of being lonely and empty. She yearned to be with him, to be whole and happy again. For now she would be lost to the cruel loneliness of this world. The darkness closes in around her as she feels an unfamiliar presence come up to her. The earth trembles and shakes as he looks deep into her eyes and says, "You are mine from this day forward." The wind blows her raven hair back off of her face. Her ivory skin shining slighly in the moonlight as her eyes glow like emeralds, she smiles. She speaks in a soft confident tone, "I belong to no one but my one true king."
