judgesc's blog: "The Beginning"

In The Beginning,

How Clichet!  But we all start somewhere don't we.  Thinking emphatically and enthusiastically and yet I feel sepearted from where I once started.  When Hence I became the person I am today the trails and crooked dark streets of life and death ever hanging in the balance seeking complete control of my insanity; this insanity we call Chaos in a world where order seems to be a mere Mirage of Heavens and Hell colliding at a intergalactic speed.  I will keep this short and to the point from here on out.

My name is Dave.  I was born as the last of the Generation X'ers.  I guess that is where my story begins.  I was a healthy full sized average baby.  My parents knew my name years ahead of time.  My middle name follows Michael the Arch Angel who battles feverishly for the souls against the ever reaching arms of Hell.  I don't remember anything of those early years, but I am told I was a quiet and obedient baby that barely cried except for over-tiredness.  I think my first memories I have were when I was 3.  We were living in Nebraska, United States at the time.  State Population maybe reached 400,000.  Our city was less then 2000.  Their was a field outside our house where the Rattlers roamed.  During the day we would go fly kites in the field wihere the horses roamed wild.  Sometimes we could feed them sugar cubes and carrots. THe grass was tall and brown and their was but one fence between the road and the field.  Then it went on for endless miles of prairy land.   You could see the Black Hills in a few days journey by foot rising on the horrizon.  The morning and evening sun shined like fire in the night sky as if Heaven and hell waged before a long night of rest.  You saw red, purple blue, gold, orange, brown all clashing together that would soon give way to the sars.  Their were two cars in this field.  I always had nightmares about getting trapped in the cars and rattlers crawling all over me.  We were always told not to go near them because of snakes.  The times were exciting and scary, exploring the world for the first time and really understanding the dangers it holds.  Plenty of nightmares during this time as reality and fantasy collided with a passion of blood and violence as my little mind could not comprehend the biblical tales that were being taught in Church from the old testament.  I envisioned massive battles with armies so large they would blot out the land of texas like little ants blotting out a roadway between businesses from a sky view.  I could imagine these armies clashing at full speed as you might see in one of these epic battles that Braveheart shows.  Metal against metal and arrows blotting out the sun.  I, not knowing the horrors of war was thinking what an awesome spectacle this must have been; and yet I had a sense of fire, fear, passion and boldness to it.  It must be this passion that lead me to think I could take on the world.

In my next blog I will touch on this as I was a little boy marching down the street with pots and pans for armor, covers for shields, and a Spatchula as my sword.
