Bloody Cobbler's blog: "Telemarketing authority figures can lick my balls"

I almost got fired from my telemarketing night job tonight.  Some gigantic blob of a woman supervisor I will call Clayface (because she looks like Clayface from Batman) asked us how we like the job.  I answered honestly.  Duh, how stupid of me.  For some reason It never gets through to me that honesty is a cardinal sin in telemarketing.  Anyway a couple hours later this dickhead manager who takes himself way too seriously pulls me aside and accuses me of spreading negativity.  I did no such thing.  I was minding my own business and doing my job when they asked me a question that I simply answered and explained why.  I have been in this shitty business for the better part of 6 years and have never seen a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.  Seriously they are a superstitious and cowardly lot.  I did not use those words however.  The only reason why I'm doing it now is because I can't get hired for anything else.  Not even McDonalds.  I have a fucking degree in Network Engineering for pete's sake. 

Anyway I was accused of spreading negative energy and was told I wasn't wanted there.  When we were off to the side away from everyone else I explained to him why I don't like telemarketing.  He acted offended that I was lumping this company in with all the other ones like this was some super legitimate by the books organization.  Funny, when I initially googled the name of the company to find their phone number to get a job I was greeted with several pages of fraud complaints. 

Hey!  Douchebag!  Just because you're a member of the BBB doesn't mean SHIT!  There was a telemarketing company called Suntasia that was a member of the BBB and they were RAIDED BY THE FBI and shut own NUMEROUS times.  There was even an article in the newspaper a few years ago when the FTC tore them a new asshole and one of the higher ups in the FTC said "This is the worst case of telemarketing fraud I have seen in my entire 25 year career".  But to be fair, this company is slightly more legitimate, but probably due to the example of what Suntasia was made into.

Again though I digress.  I will close with this.  Working at this job is going to be fun until I get fired and I'm sure I will get fired though probably not for the reasons I was already expecting to get fired.  This company can lick my balls.  For the most part the managers I have encountered have been cool but Clayface and Douchebag can lick my balls.

And if there are any telemarketers here on fubar reading this that get offended, and I have offended telemarketers here on fubar by talking shit in the past, you as well can lick my balls
