wowwww...i can't believe that it is the New Year already!! yikes! And i can't believe how hectic and busy things have been! Just even ordinary 'life stuff' has kept me so on the go, so wrapped up that i haven't even made it on here to keep up with you all in at least a couple months!!
(some of you noticed...some of you probably still haven't noticed lol)
The holidays went really well! Got to see all the family, everyone is holding their own, doing well. I'm officially an aunt now, have a new addition to the family..very cute! have made a couple trips back to NE to see her and the in-laws. can't wait til nice weather is here again..easier for travel, and funner time to get together :)
My kids made out like bandits for Christmas. It's always fun to see their excitement when they get stuff they've been really wanting.
I have a 3 year old and its been a lot of fun with all his excitement and enjoying all these new festivities :) It was funny to hear him each morning once the tree was up and look to see if santa came, then say with a disappointed pout 'no santa come...no robot' and then after a week tell us we had to get rid of the tree cuz no santa. too cute!
we had several get togethers with family. Towards the last one, i think, i was really ready for them all to be over. Not that i don't love them all, just the business of it all, i was ready for 'normal' days.
New Years came and went. I'm ready for a new year. Not that this last one has been bad, it's just nice to think of a fresh start again. And I can always hope for better right?
We did go out and celebrate a bit, got together with a friend we haven't seen since moving to Iowa, that was nice! went out to eat, hit the casino for a bit (wish i could say we walked away big winners lol but no)
Rocked the new year with some hot sex and wa-la!
