I'm going to be getting Gastric Bypass Surgery. First I have to get test done to make sure I will be okay for it and also I have to get blood work done to see if I have Cushings Syndrome. I am really looking forward to finally getting rid of this weight. This surgery is manily for health reasons not to look good 'cause I know I look good with or without the surgery.
If you don't know what Gastric Bypass Surgery is or Cushings Syndrome is here are the deffintions.
Gastric Bypass Surgery: "Gastric bypass surgery makes the stomach smaller and allows food to bypass part of the small intestine. You will feel full more quickly than when your stomach was its original size, which reduces the amount of food you eat and thus the calories consumed. Bypassing part of the intestine also results in fewer calories being absorbed. This leads to weight loss." - http://www.webmd.com/diet/weight-loss-surgery/gastric-bypass
Cushings Disease: "Cushing's syndrome is a rare disorder that develops when the body is exposed to too much of the hormone cortisol. Cushing's syndrome is also known as hypercortisolism." - http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/cushings-syndrome-topic-overview
