What is true love?

 

It seems that as times have grown more complex and "evolved"we have lost sight of what things really mean...like "I love you" ,"True Love", "Soul Mate" things like that. I personally think "I Love You" is a very overused phrase nowdays. people fling it around like its a typical phrase in typical conversation. I dont know how many men i have come across on this website that after 2 days of talking to me they say " i love you" i sit back and wonder to myself... how in gods name can you love me... you really know nothing about me... Another thing.. people fall in love to easily nowdays... i myself have fallen victim to this horrible trend...and have gotten hurt from it. What happened to the love that was years ago? I honestly think the last time i saw true love was with my great grandparents. When my great grandmother passed away, my great grandfather went over to the bed and kissed my great grandmother and said " I love you Eva, i will see you soon."

THAT is true love. My great grandfather lived the rest of his life missing her and telling us all about her. He passed away last september.

 

That was true love, that was a soul mate. What happened to that?

Hello Hello all my precious friends, family,and loverz. I havnt written alot lately... i know... iv been really busy. Work is kicking my ass. I still work at the nursing home, i have been employed there since June of 2008 (yay!) congrats to me. this is the longest i have ever held a job! So i have been working about 40 hours a week if not more... The wing i work is getting sooooo physically demanding. Its really getting bad. my back is killing me. my arms hurt, my knee is really getting bad... i sound like a bowl of rice crispies when i get home. its horrible. But i make money i pay my bills a do what i have to do. I will be moving into my place come spring cant wait for that. Oil is way to expensive for me to afford right now so thats why i am moving in when it gets warmer. Gonna be going away to Florida in a few weeks i hope goin to visit my Marine. I cant wait. Its gonna be fun.. iv never been on a plane before AND iv never been to Florida. This will be interesting lol. My Marine and i are doing well he is amazing. He treats me so good. I love him with all my heart. Not to say i didnt have fun with the man i was with earlier in the year mah Philtz he treated me good to. He is a sweetheart. I still love you you goof. Just in a friend sort of way. Ladies! Go get him 2009 so far has been alright.. nothin to drastic has happened. Just the usual for me. Gotz a cellphone now so im all happy about that.I was dyin without it. BUT i got one again! Whoo Hoo. its a sexy phone to.. its a LG Rhythm and its PINK!!! I am getting so sick of my familys bullshit. It seems that no one cares about what family means anymore. My Great grandmother passed away 2 years ago in May. She dies of cancer. My mother, my grandfather, My grandmother, My aunt kathy, my aunt sherrie, and my uncle arnold did EVERYTHING for her. they drover her to her appointments 45 minutes away. They took her to the hospital when she was getting really sick and they didnt know what was going on. They made sure her medications where set up for her to take and made sure she was comfortable when she passed away.My mother even gave my great grandmother a bed bath after she passed away. My family (the rest of them, various aunts and uncles and cousins) did nothing but sit back and watch us do everything for her. When they threw a fit about not being able to help we would let them and they found some excuse as to why they couldnt do it they day they were supposed to. Well after my great grandmother passed away my family kind of fell apart and we all began fighting more. But we held together for my great grandfather. Again we were their to take care of him when things started gettingbad with him. He passed away in September of this year. That was it. the family fell apart. One cousin of mine even went as far as to say " They dumped everything on MY poor Mother." which is fuckin bullshit because HER mother is a pain in the ass. One day my great grandfather was having chest pain and difficulty breathing and we were going to take him to the hospital. but since she is one of his daughters we had to call her at work and let her know what was going on. Well we called her and she said " okay wait there for me i will leave work and come over to go over with you" mean while my great grandfather is haveing this breathing problems and chest pain... we waited.... 2 hours.... it was fucking ridiculous!!!! Needless to say i do not talk to that side of my family anymore because if i do... i will end up in jail for manslaughter.
