How does one deal with the passing of ones parent? I am very upset even though I knew this day was coming for a long time. My father was sick for a long time, hes body slowing shuting down and his mind becoming lost into a sea of emptiness. In the end he didn't even Know who I was.
My father always sheltered me from the world up until I was about 16. He was a very over protected man when it came to me.
I have alot of his qualities myself, most of them taught, because I get called his name all the time by my best friend when I am acting like my father would.
In my eyes he will always be a pillar of strenght, intelligence, love, and understanding.
He will be truly missed, I only pray that he has found the peace he should have.
