| I love my boyfriend with all my heart. I feel uncomfortable when he gets stoned or drunk without me because i fear that he will do something to hurt me, like cheat on me or end up in jail. I have asked him and he swore that he wouldnt drink or get high without me. I slipped and got high once, but told my boyfriend later. He said that even though i slipped up, he would still not do anything until i was with him. Recently, i got drunk (i wasnt drunk, he was) with my boyfriend and he was rude and irrational and saying things that hurt me. The next morning, i told him about how he treated me while he was drunk but i would stay with him anyway. Yesterday he told me he was going to his friend's house today and i asked him if he was going to get drunk or high with his best friend. My boyfriend said he swears he wont. Today, he broke his word twice (he said i could call him after i got out of my first class at 9:50, but he was already at his friend's house by then so i couldnt, and that he would leave by 2 so i could call him then, but he was still at his friend's) before he called me and was slurring his words. i asked him if he was drunk or high, he said neither. i called and asked my boyfriend's friend and asked if my boyfriend had gotten stoned but instead his friend told me my boyfriend got drunk. My boyfriend keeps saying he isnt drunk, but everything he is doing keeps proving to me that he is very drunk. He keeps insulting me and being immature and irrational and hurting me. I told him before that i dont date liars so if he lied to me again, then i would leave him. but i love him and i would like to stay but i am afraid he will lie to me again, plus how can i trust him anymore? I dont know what to do... |
