Why cant i find that someone who understands me
someone who will listen and truly see
See why these walls are up and im afraid to love and trust
to see that my heart has been broken and im full of discust
When i open my heart and let them in
then thats when it seems the heartaches begin
I try to show how i am rather unique
words from the heart i always do speak
Everytime i finally let those walls down
i always end up crying almost enough to drown
All i ask is for someone who is true
someone who means it when they say" I Love You"
The one who wakes up thinking about me with a smile upon his face
the one when he looks at me and i make his heart race
When i look in his eyes i can see his soul
and when we are together he makes me feel whole
To see him smile for ever more
someone i can love and forever adore
Someone who will put my happiness ahead of his own
the one who will love me forever so i dont feel alone
Someone i can love more and more every day
someone i can make happy in every way
I have so much love to give to that guy who is true
and who will understand the things that i been through
Who will love me with all of his might
someone who will make my future look bright
The one who i will forever love
the one i will thank the heavens above
If i do find this love i will hold him tight
