I dont remember how I thought of this (which I might remember sometime through out this whole rant thing)...
When will the line be drawn that we arent allowed to be saying or advertising anything with "American" in it?
The United States cannot have "God" displayed anywhere within the public eye without a whole bitch-fit happening although this country was founded by the English with the Christian/Catholic religion.
We cannot discriminate or show bad feelings towards someone who cannot speak a lick of English or "American-"English although they speak Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, German although this country again, was founded by English speaking people (aside from the Native Americans).
So when is it that we wont be able to display (Oh heres where I got it from!) "American Music Awards" because not everyone who lives in the United States is white and "American"? Just because you immigrated from Mexico, South America, China, Australia, Russia etc. etc. and you're not an "American" you think it should be universal because you voted. And "you" in the last sentence being everyone who has a green card or who dont consider themselves American just because their ancestors immigrated here years ago. You think you're "Spanish-American" and "Chinese-American," "Russian-American," "Japanese-American," "African-American."
If you were born in this freakin country, you're American. You're not a "Country-Where-Your-Great-Great-Great-Great-Grandparents-Came-From-American". If thats the case, move back to where you're from.
Dont come over here, bitch about shit that you dont agree with whether it be seeing God written on a wall (which I dont consider myself a Christian anymore so Im not just defending Christians but also people who believe in Mohammed and Buddha along with other religions "higher spirits") or feeling offended because you came into a country where over half of the LEGAL population speaks fluent English and you dont understand what we're saying. If I came to YOUR country TO LIVE, YOU'D EXPECT ME to LEARN the LANGUAGE that MOST of YOUR PEOPLE SPEAK! Am I not right?
I feel like writing a "Why I Would Be A Great Presidential Candidate" blog... So that'll be my next task. Do some research on what some of the big words mean (haha), some background history and some of the most controversial and important topics in the country to this day are. Post my thoughts and see what yins think.
So, I hope this blog made sense... If not, please ask away so I can maybe help shine a bit more light onto the situation I was trying to throw out there.
