ok, let me see if I can explain this a little better.....
Me & this guy (who yes, is still legally married) are friends. He's helped me along in my career... we talk a good bit and he's been somewhat of a role model and mentor. HOWEVER.... it seems a little bit of feelings might have developed during the past year or so he's been on his way out the door from his marriage. I'm confused as all hell... but, I know first and foremost, we're GOOD FRIENDS!!
He acts like he might get me at least a little something for Valentines Day...but, I'm betting 97% he won't.
With that being said and explained....
Should I get a little something kinda cutsey since he's my friend and possibly fuel what could actually be there from him... (ideas needed)
or
Just leave it be and if he gets me something thank him & just appreaciate someone did something nice for me this year, since I have no serious boyfriend at the moment...
(and i believe valentines day is about all kinds of love... not just romantic love. that's where i stand) |
