my name is Eleanor . i want you to look at me like you love me. to gaze my direction with a longing in your eyes. i want you to tell me you love me and you need me. not in a" you make my dinner and pay the bills" kind of way but in the sort of way that says" my heart aches to reach for you but i am afraid if i do you will not be there, you willl be a dream, and i do not want to wake up". i want you to tell me how you feel. i want you to reach for me. not respond to my touch as etiquette would dictate. i need to feel loved by you. i yearn to feel beautiful in your eyes. i want to feel that touch on my skin that makes it catch fire, that sprouts goose bumps upon my goose bumps. the kiss that takes my breath away and i know it takes yours too. the kiss you linger on even after it is over for just one extra moment on those soft lips. the type that says all you feel in that brief connection. i want to see that sparkle in your eyes as you take my hand and lead me silently up the stairs. touch me like i am the softest most delicate flower you have ever felt . like you, too, feel that electricity that is radiating from my skin. show me that your heart skips a beat when i touch you too. make me feel "you" . and after you show me all the dimensions of your love for me, quietly whisper , as your lips ever so gently brush my ear, i love you too.
