I am shannen.
I am twenty-three years old.
I live in the oh-so-lovely suburb of Rolling Meadows.
I work way too damn much for my own good.
Not that I mind that either.
I work with twenty-one four year olds for nine hours a day, so if you plan on acting childish, I will gladly treat you like one. You'll be probably easier to deal with anyways.
I can mosh right along with the rest of the boys in the pit without worrying if I am going to break a nail.
I like my music loud and full of bass.
I love leaving a concert with ringing in my ears.
I prefer rock/metal/alternative/nu-metal or however you wish to breakdown that genre of music.
I have extra holes in my body than the ones I was born with.
And I have a few colors on my skin that weren't there when I was born either.
If I see anything dealing with a clown, I will more than likely turn the other way.
I am addicting like caffeine.
I go well pretty much with anything or anyone, just like ketchup.
I am affectionate when needed, but I can be a bitch if provoked.
I am shy and reserved until I am comfortable with my surroundings.
That does not qualify me as being stuck up.
I'll be brutally honest if asked to be.
I can be overly generous.
I rather give someone my last dollar than spend it on myself.
I am sympathetic, and I am also empathetic.
But don't you dare take advantage of me.
I do have a temper and not afraid to show it.
It's the Italian/Sicilian in me.
I am the stereo-typical Italian that talks with their hands.
I don't trust many people, but the people I do trust come few and far between, but luckily, I have some really amazing friends.
I am the all around typical Pisces.
I love to dream and wonder, but I stay firmly planted on the ground.
I lend a hand where needed, and usually don't expect a hand back.
I rather be observant instead of joining in.
I tend to pick the boys that'll break my heart.
I give up too quickly avoiding unnecessary confrontation, but I will never back down from a fight I believe should be fought.
I can be moody, so don't hold that against me.
I am supportive.
I don't like being judged so therefore, I wouldn't judge someone else.
I never once set out to be different; I always set out to by myself
