High I am 54yrs old, soon to be 55. I like sports, reading, writing, and many different tv shows. I have 3 children of my own and a step son. 11 grandchildren 1 of which I am raising. I live in a small town in Illinois so not really much to do. I spend way too much time on the internet.
I've written and published a romance novel, "In Two Heartbeats," which can be found on Amazon under Carole S. Lance. I recently finished working on a mystery, and my current writing in progress is deep friendship (or more) with a bit of science fiction. I read, watch and write the genres I love.
I am happily married and here strictly for meeting new people. My husband and I raised our Autistic grandson from the age of 9 months to 17. When Hubby's health started going down we made the very heartbreaking choice of putting him into a school based residential home. He loves it there. Wish for him we would have done this sooner.
NSFW pictures are not my thing. I will not post nudes of myself. Do not ask me to do so. My husband of 27 years doesn't have a nude photo of me, so I'm not about to post one for people I don't know. I have no problem with others having it on their page, as it is their page to do what they wish. I know how to scroll on by.
I'm not here to hook up...Please be respectful of this fact. There is nothing wrong with a good conversation with a hint of flirting as long as it is understood that is where it ends. I respect my husband far to much to cheat on him in real life or on the internet.
I believe in respecting everyone, including those I may not agree with. We are all individuals, made to be unique and our own person. That means we are not always going to agree, that does not mean I'm disrespecting you.

Interests
My interest, well I guess my favorite thing to do is read as with television and music I like a wide variety of genres. I like all the NCIS shows, Stargate and Star Trek. Current Fav is Yellowstone and 1923. I like to meet new people and travel.
I use my voice to advocate for my grandson who is Autistic. He is on the low end of the spectrum and considered severe. He can get aggressive, he's non-verbal, and still wears a pull-up. He also has the most brilliant smile, big heart, and a wicked since of humor. He loves praise and to see others laugh and smile. Like any other teenager Pizza, Cheeseburgers, and taco's are his favorite meals. He loves vegetables. He is our world.
Music
I like all kinds of music. Growing up in the 80's it's probably my favorite. I will listen to Country, Rock, Pop, Jazz and even some hip-hop. If its up beat and hooks me from the go, I'll listen.
Movies
I love anything with Kiefer Sutherland in it(I have a lot of his movies). I also love X-Files, Stargate, and Star Trek. Seal Team, Criminal Minds and all the NCIS shows. Harry Potter and all the Marvel Movies.
Idols
I look up to people in the health care field I think it takes an extraordinary person to be in this field.
I love our military personnel. My father, many uncles, and cousins all served; as did my husband. I am proud of each and every one of them.
I respect all our first responders. They have a tough and thankless job. In doing so they see way too much. I am friends with several local police officers thanks to the time my husband spent working with them and living in a small town.
