Music
Hey, I like a lotta music. I'm kinda off the wall in that regard. Let's see, first and formost is my collection of classical-- Tchaikvsky, Mozart, Greig, Verdi, Bizet, Puccini, Wagner, to name a few. I love opera, especially the mid- to late- 19th century stuff. I've been lucky enough to see a number of live performances: Motzart's The Magic Flute and Don Giovanni, Verdi's Rigoletto and La Triviata, Donzetti's Maria Padilla (Sorry, but Bel Canto style just isn't my thing!), and Bizet's Carmen. My dream is to someday see Puccini- either Tosca or Turnadot.
Besides classical, I enjoy a lot of 'harder' rock. My CD collection has Audioslave, System of a Down, Nirvana, Green Day, etc.
There is also my preferences for some more 'standard' rock: REM, Train, VanMorrison, to give you an idea. From there, I go completly eclectic-- Trailer Trash, Soul Coughing, Moby, and They Might Be Giants; female vocalists -- Tori Amos, Shakira, Gwen Stefani, and Jewel; Some 'folksy'-- Bob Dylan, Don McLean; and a few exceptions to my "Not really into Country or Rap/Hip Hop" Rule -- Dixie Chicks and Charlie Daniels Band.
Does that give you an idea, or are you more confused?
