Ok..Here goes...I'm a married mother of 4 (2 of my own and 2 other stepchildren..who might as well be my own as well) living in the beautiful Shenandoah mountains of Virginia. I have lived in Winchester for about 10 years now, moving from the busy life of Fairfax County. What a shock it was for this city girl to wake up to cows mooing instead of 18-wheelers barreling down the road!
My childrens ages range from 18 to 9...2 of each. What a handful they all are when all in the same house!
I have 1 dog and now down to 2 cats. They are my babies as well. Spoiled...Spoiled...Spoiled!
Currently I'm a substitute teacher, I mainly take care of the special ed department at the local elementary school. I have found that I really enjoy the Special Education children and I am considering going back for my Masters in Education for Special Ed.
In the little spare time that I do have, since being a mommy is a 24/7 job, I like to collect hearts and angels, taking digital photography, reading historical romance novels, relaxing at the lake or pool, training (or trying to) my Australian Sheppard (Noah), playing online games, catching up with my old friends and meeting new friends along the way.
Musically speaking, I like all kinds of music. Some of my current favorites are Daughtry, Nickelback, Three Doors Down, Pink, Greenday, and Lifehouse. I also like the 80's metal bands like Def Leppard, AC/DC, Rush, Motley Crue, and Metallica. I'm not into much classical, rap, or that new screamo music.
