Ok let me get this off my chest i hate when im walking thur the store or at the park and people stare at me and my son just because my son has mosaic downsydrome (a rare form of downs) you do not have to give me the im sorry look im very bleesed everyday to have my son in my life yea he has his problems like every other child they are very loving and happy children and adults did you care to stop and think that sometimes us parnets of kids with downsydrome are happy just to get out of the house and go to the park or store to get our minds off the fact that our child might be going in for thier 3rd or 5th heart surgey before the age of five or when will my child start talking without using sign langue did you people know that a child with downs if taught at the age of 4 months by the time they are age 5 can say over 280 words using sign lanague you may see us sometimes look like hell when were out because our child is teething and we cant get any sleep becasue children with downs when they get thier teeth coming in its not one or two at a time its 6 mybe 7 at once they are able to do alot of things like work regular jobs go to school and collage and live long happy lives into thier 60's and 70's it used to be the doctor would tell u im sorry u had a downsydrome baby you need to put it in a mental hospital and forget about it things have changed since then thers alot more information out there now about how wonderful and rewarding it is to have a child with downsydrome so next time u see a child with downsydrome dont look at he parnets or the child wiht a nasty look or a im sorry look just smile and a say congrats your child looks wonderful or just ask us how is ur day going for all u know we my just needed to be remind how lucky we are to have a our child still around after have that 3rd or 5th heart surgey just a week before
